Shortage of equity is the main factor restricting the development of small and medium enterprises (SME). Insufficient equity slows down their growth, limits the availability of bank loans and makes technological development difficult.

The Equity Investment Fund (venture capital) offer could be the way of resolving that problem.

The Podlaski Equity Investment Fund is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Podlaska Regional Development Foundation. It manages fund of 2 mln USD created within the Polish British Enterprise Project to provide venture capital for the SME sector.
